Susannah Miller (9/12/1816-8/24/1885) " " George was a laborer in Washington Twp in the 1850 census. A record of the accounting of his father's estate in January 1853 listed him as being in Ogle County, Illinois. He was in Washington Twp again in the 1860 census. He served as private in Co A of the 210th Regt Inf from Sept. 1864 to May 1865. In March, 1862, Susannah, wife of George Bonawitz of Jackson Twp, bought 20 acres in Upper Paxton Twp. They were in Jackson Twp in 1870 and 1880. Susannah was a daughter of John R. and Sarah Miller according to THE ENDERS GENEALOGY. She wrote a will in 1880, in which she mentioned her husband and her three children. George and Susannah are buried in Straw's Cemetery at Enders in Jackson Township, Dauphin Oounty. 1. Sarah Bonawitz (1839 per census No further information. 2. Susanna Bonawitz (1841 per census No further information. 3. William Adam Bonawitz (6/8/1848 or 1849- m. Sarah Jane Peters July 6, 1871 (1/11/1850- Sarah was a daughter of Joseph Peters and wife Sarah Lentz. The 1880 census showed them in Wayne Twp, Dauphin County. They had no children at that time. William and Sarah Jane, of Wiconisco Twp, sold lots in September, 1905 which Sarah Jane had inherited from her father. It is presently believed that William had no children.
