DANIEL David Bonawits, (7/3/1805-7/~/1886) 
m. Mariah Jane Maurer, (11/21/1812-?/23/1881) 
Daniel was baptised at St, John's (Hill) Evangelical Lutheran. 
Church at Berryshurg. Daniel bought land in Mifflin Township from 
Jacob Harman in 1836 but was farming in Upper Paxton Township in 
1853 and he communed at Zion's Lutheran Church there. Daniel and 
Mary are buried at Rife, east of Millersburg. Daniel named his 
children in a will written in 1885. They were listed again in an 
Orphan's Court record in 1896.
1. Elizabeth Bonawitz, (born 1837 per census-
   m. Charles Longabach
   They were living in Upper Paxton Township in 1896. 
2. Kathryn Bonawitz,  (born 1839 per census- 
   m. Aaron Snyder,   (1839-1877) Buried at Rife.
   She was living with her Uncle John in 1880. 
3. Wm. Henry Bonawitz, (7/22/1841-??/??/1906)
   m. Mary (Polly) Holtzman
   He was in U. Paxton Twp in 1880. Buried Killinger. 
4. Jonas M. Bonawitz,  (7/  /1843-6/  /1923) 
   m. Magdalena Hepner
   He farmed at Rife and is buried there.
5. Lydia A. Bonawitz,  (9/17/1846-10/29/1936)         See Bordner 
   m. David R. Bordner                                Family Comp.
   They moved to Bad Axe in Huron Co., Michigan 
6. David M. Bonawitz,  (1/3/1851- 7/12/1939) 
   m. Erlena Catherine Rowe
   They were in Upper Paxton Township in 1880 
7. Isaac Bonawitz, (9/6/1854-  /  /1939) 
   m. Catherine Sultzbaugh
   They were in Upper Paxton Township in 1880. 
8. Mary Jane Bonawitz, (4/13/1856-2/8/1902) 
   Mary Jane was afflicted and did not marry.
   She is buried at Rife.

Henry, Jonas, David and Isaac all left male lines of descent.
