Solomon F. Bonewitz (10/2/1823-3/4/1904) Buried Apple Greek Cemetery 
m. Philinda Ginter May 6, 1847 (8/12/1827-3/16/1906)     "       " 
Solomon was a farmer in Wayne Co, Ohio in 1850, was in Huntington 
County, Indiana in 1860 and was back in Wayne County in 1870. He 
lived next to Jacob and Rachel Ginter. Myrtle Rose Hawken of Wooster 
supplied basic information, taken from the Bible of Philinda which is 
now possessed by Irene Hodgen Whitmore of Ashland, Ohio. Mrs. William 
Hodgen of Wooster also supplied information. Maribel Bonewitz assisted 
with information on families living in Indiana. 
1. Rachel Bonewitz (2/11/1848
   m. John Schermerhorn May 3, 1866. They lived in western Ohio and 
   in Indiana. A daughter married an Echenbarger, lived at Port Wayne. 
2. Joseph M. Bonewitz (8/15/1850-4/3/1893) 
   m. Mary A. Happensted March 19, 1874.
   They lived in Wayne County in 1877 and lived near North 
   Manchester, Indiana in 1880. No further information. 
      1. Effie Bonewitz, born in 1876 in Indiana.
      2. Viola V, Bonewitz, born September 20, 1877 in Wayne County. 
3. Jacob Andrew Bonewitz ( 7/8/185 3-10/  /1917) 
   m. 1st Mary C. Tate   (           -12/21/1925) Buried at Wooster. 
   Jacob farmed at Apple Creek. Mary was a daughter of William Tate. Mary 
had a son who was adopted by Jacob. The marriage did not last long. Mary 
   lived with her father and raised William and Sinter. 
      1. William Bonewitz (10/25/1880-7/2/1956) Buried at Wooster. 
         m. Sadie Yoder in 1910. Born June 3, 1884.
         They lived with Mary and farmed her place till she died. 
         Sadie lives near Wooster.
            1. Walter Bonewitz, born March 25,1911. 
               m. Ethel Daugherty
               They live with Sadie and work in Wooster. 
                  1. Sadie Marie Bonewitz, born February 4, 1933. 
                     m. Russell Poulson, a policeman at Wooster. 
                        1. Alen Russell Poulson, born February 24, 1953. 
                        2. Terry Lee Poulson, born May 15, 1954. 
                        3. Thomas Bay Poulson, born December 19, 1956. 
                        4. Mary Ann Poulson, born February 9, 1960.
