Nancy Byall, Jan. 3, 1843 (11/1/1820-12/4/1882) Nancy was a daughter of James Byall of Dalton, Ohio and hie wife Mary Halpruner of Pennsylvania. She was one of eleven children. (Information from Mrs. Winona Gustofson of Seattle, Washington) Peter and Nancy married in Wayne County, Ohio, then moved to Rock Creek Township in Huntington County, Indiana. They had a 240 acre farm. Peter had a sawmill and made caskets. They are buried in West Union Cemetery north of Warren. 1. Ann Eliza Bonewitz, (7/24/1844 m. Albert Harris, September 28, 1871. 1. They had a son, Howard Harris. 2. William Allen Bonewitz, (1/17/1846-3/23/1911) m. Christiana McFadden, February 19, 1871 They moved to Maryville, Missouri about 1880. 3. Lewis Franks Bonewitz, (1/8/1848- / /1941) m. Susanna Schmuck, April 15, 1873. They stayed in Huntington County. 4. Joseph Warren Bonewitz, (1/11/1851 m. Blanche, Joseph married late in life in Oklahoma, lived at Hobart. 5. Isaiah Bonewitz, (3/11/1853-12/16/1913) m. Hannah E. Sprowl, June 10, 1876. They stayed in Huntington County. 6. Sarah Jane Bonewitz, (10/27/1855 m. Jacob C. Sprinkle, December 25, 1875. They lived at Marion, Indiana. 7. Lemuel Bonewitz, (2/22/1858- / /1918) Lemuel never married. 8. Orlando Bonewitz, (7/10/1861- / /1937) m. Lydia D. Pritchett, August 10, 1884. They stayed in Huntington County. Note; William, Frank, Isaiah and Orlando left male lines of descent.
