Henry W. Bonewitz, (4/9/1824-9/20/1901) Died in Huntington Co., Ind. 
m. Regana Pyle, Sept 14, 1848 (6/3/1826-1/14/1912)   "           " 
They married in Wayne County, Ohio. Regana was a daughter of Jacob 
and _____ Brown Pyle. Henry farmed near Van Wert, Ohio in 1850, 
then moved to Huntington County, Indiana before 1860. They were buried 
at White Church Cemetery but were later moved to Star of Hope Cemetery. 
1. William A. Bonewitz,  (6/12/1849-8/22/1938) Buried at Fife Lake, Mich. 
   m. Sarah Melissa McClurg, June 11, 1871 (6/8/1854-6/18/1924) 
   They married in Huntington County. Sarah was born in Clinton County 
   Ohio, a daughter of Allen and Phoebe Randol McClurg. Henry farmed 
   in Huntington County. They also lived in Iowa for a time before 1880. 
   They divorced and Sarah remarried to Curtis Randol. Sarah died in 
   Huntington County but Henry went to Michigan. 
      1. Bert Bonewitz, died at age 5 in Iowa. 
      2. Charles Bonewitz, (1876-1943) 
         m. Jennie Shafer, (1876-1947) 
         1. Edith Bonewitz, died at age 2.
         2. Elsie Bonewitz, born 1897. Had 11 children.
             m. Leo Burnett, (1893-1970) Elsie lives at Fife Lake, Mich. 
         3. Elma Bonewitz, (    -    ) died before 1970) 
            m. Jonas Sprague. They had 5 children.
      3. John Bonewitz, (12/28/1877-11/14/1915)  He died in Marion Co. 
         m. Jess _____, 
		     A daughter Gladys is now Mrs. Howard Dailey of Indianapolis. 
      4. Julia, (1880-    )
         m. Dan Andrews. Both are buried at Warren, Indiana.
         There were 8 children, of whom the last one died at birth. 
      5. Oliver Frank Bonewit, (2/14/1882-6/7/1956) Died Huntington Co. 
         m. Millie Leotus Wysong, (8/23/1886-6/15/1964)      "       " 
            Millie was born in Huntington County and was a daughter of 
            John Winfield and Amanda Mariar Hart Wysong. Frank farmed 
            where the Huntington Reservoir now is. He spelled it 
            Bonewit.

2. Jacob Bonewitz,  (1852-    ) He was born in Ohio. 
   m. Malinda _____, (1855-    ) She was known as Annie. 
   They farmed in Salamonie Twp, Huntington County in 1880. It is 
   believed they had no children. He visited at Van Wert about 1935.
