Willam Bonawitz, ( / /1832-5/21/1891) 
   m. Susan Doebler, July 13, 1862  1/26/1844-11/23/1924) 
   William and Susan married, at Pine Grove. She was born at Wiconisco. 
   William served as a private in Co D of the 10th Regt of Pa Infantry 
   for 3 months in 1861. He was a laborer in Pine Grove Twp in 1870. 
   In 1880 he worked at a colliery at Shamokin, Pa. At times, he used 
   the Bonewitz spelling.  War records show that William is buried in 
   the Shamokin Cemetery and that Susan was living at Shamokin when she 
   died.

         No further information.

   Information on the children is from census records. 
   No descendants have been found.
